What is peridot?
Peridot is sometimes called chrysolite. It is a yellow-green color and only comes in this color. Peridot can range in price from $50-$450. So why exactly is peridot special? It only comes in one color, so it no that you can find it in a variety of unique colors. The quality that makes this stone special is that it is known as the stone of compassion. Peridot is believed to bring good health, restful sleep and peace to relationships by balancing one’s mind and emotions. Peridot is also the birthstone for August.
Well, I don’t know about you but that is definitely a win, win for me. You had me a t balance my emotions. This beautiful bright green stone is also believed to have an uncanny ability to inspire eloquence, creativity, delight, and good cheer.
Who should not wear peridot?
Peridot is made from the mineral olivine. Therefore, if you are allergic to olivine you should NOT wear this stone.
